Pusphak Travels

Our small office is tucked away at 92 Amman Kovil Street, right in the heart of the Kondithope-Sowcarpet area. It’s a lively part of Chennai, always something happening outside the window, especially being so close to the Corporation School. Pusphak Travels is a local setup. We spend our days answering calls and booking trips for the people in the neighborhood. It’s not a quiet place, but that’s just how it is in Sowcarpet. We’ve got maps on the walls and plenty of ledgers that we still use because they work. Sometimes the tea guy comes by and we take a quick break, then it’s back to sorting out travel plans. We don’t have a fancy waiting room or anything like that. People just drop in, ask about ticket prices or car rentals, and we do our best to find something that fits. It gets pretty dusty with the street traffic, but we keep the place running. It’s a family-style environment here. We know the shortcuts and the best times to leave to avoid the worst of the Chennai jams. We aren't trying to be the biggest agency in town, just a reliable spot on this street. You’ll find us here most days, just working through the daily tasks and making sure the bookings are confirmed properly for everyone who stops by our door. We have been part of this street for a long time and we like the local feel.
