Progressive Trading Corporation

We’ve been operating out of Broadway for a long time. Our address used to be Old No 158, but now it’s New No 144. It gets a bit confusing for some people, but most who know the area find us easily enough. Trading is what we do here every single day. The building is old, and it has that specific smell of paper and stock that’s been sitting for a while. Broadway is always packed with people and vehicles, so there’s never a quiet moment outside our door. Inside, we are busy tracking orders and moving goods around. We aren't big on fancy office chairs or high-tech systems; we mostly use ledgers and simple lists to keep track of things. It works for us. The stairs are narrow, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re more concerned with the actual trading. We talk to suppliers and customers all day long. Sometimes the heat in the afternoon makes things slow, but we keep the fans going. It’s a very traditional way of doing business, honestly. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. We just show up, open the shutters, and get to work. The history of this street is part of who we are now. Most of the people around here have been our neighbors for years. It’s just how Progressive Trading Corporation functions in this part of town.
