Precision Instruments Corpn. is located on the 1st Floor at 26 Narasingapuram Street, just off Mount Road. If you know this part of the city, you know how packed and narrow the streets can get. It’s a hub for tools and electronics, so there is always a lot of energy around. Our office is up a narrow flight of stairs. It’s an old building, so the floors creak a bit, but it has character. We’ve been here for a long time, watching the shops around us change owners while we stayed put. Inside, we have shelves lined with all sorts of instruments and measuring tools. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze with all the inventory, but we have a system that works for us. We don't do much in the way of advertising; most people find us because they’ve heard we carry the specific things they need for their workshops. The windows look out over the street, and it’s always fun to watch the crowds below during the afternoon rush. We aren't a high-tech corporate outfit. We still use paper ledgers for some things and our phone is often ringing off the hook with people asking for prices. The staff here is small and we’ve all been together for years. We just focus on providing the parts and tools that people come in for. It’s a very practical, old-school way of doing business on Mount Road. We don't need anything more than that to keep going day to day.
