Pratheesh Driving School

We have been around Adyar for a while now, right near the Canara Bank in Kasturbai Nagar. It is a busy spot in Chennai, so it is a good place to learn how to handle traffic. My name is Pratheesh and I started this school at the Sai Kiran Building on 1st Main Road. Driving in this city isn't always easy, especially when you are just starting out and everyone is honking their horns. We try to keep things calm in the car because getting stressed makes it harder to learn. Most people who come to us are neighbors or students from around here who just want to get their license without too much stress. It is a small operation. We have a few cars and we spend most of our days out on the roads around the 600020 area. If you walk past the bank, you will probably see our sign out front. I spend a lot of time sitting in the passenger seat watching the mirrors and making sure the students are doing okay. It gets very hot in the afternoons, but that is just how it is here in Chennai. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that, just the space in the building where we do the paperwork and talk about the rules of the road. It is mostly just about getting behind the wheel and getting used to the clutch and the gears. Some people pick it up fast and others take a few more weeks.
