Pranav Chheda Photography

I’m based right here in Chennai. Pranav Chheda Photography is basically just me and my gear. I don't have a big studio with a neon sign or a specific street address to give out like other businesses do. I mostly work out on location or wherever the job takes me across the city. Chennai has so many good spots for photos, so I’m always moving around. I’ve lived here a long time and I know the light and the streets pretty well. I didn't want to have a corporate-style office because that’s not really how I work. I keep things simple. If we need to meet, we usually just find a quiet spot or I go to where the client is. It’s more flexible that way. I’ve been doing this for a while now and I’ve seen a lot of changes in the city. But the way I take photos stays pretty much the same. I just look for what’s real. I don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what I do. It’s just photography. Being in Chennai gives me plenty of variety. I’m usually out with my camera most days. It’s a busy life but I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. I just do my thing and try to get the shots right. There isn't a big staff here, just me handling the files and the shoots. It is a one-man show mostly, and I like the direct way that works.
