Power Train Components

You can find us at No. 10/15 on West Vanniar Street. K.K. Nagar is a busy spot, and our little corner is no different. We handle power train components, which basically means a lot of gears and shafts and things that make machines move. It’s a bit cramped in the shop sometimes because we have a lot of stock piled up in the back. We’ve been here a long time, and the neighbors know us well. It’s not like those big corporate parks you see in other parts of the city. Here, you can hear the street noise while we work. We have a few lathes and some other gear-cutting machines. The guys have been working together for years, so we don't need to talk much to know what needs doing next. Sometimes a customer comes in with a broken part that they can't find anywhere else. We see if we can match it or fix it. It’s practical work. Chennai gets really humid, so we usually have the fans going full blast. It doesn’t always help much, but we get used to it. We don't have a fancy reception desk or anyone to answer the phones in a suit. If you call, you’re likely talking to someone with grease on their shirt. We just focus on the parts. West Vanniar Street is where we spent most of our lives, really. It’s just a local business doing what we know how to do. We keep it simple and just stay busy.
