Our place, Planet Mount Hotel, is right on Anna Salai in Teynampet. We are situated at number 530, which is basically right across from the Sun TV office. Being on such a major road in Chennai means there is never a quiet moment. We see all kinds of traffic passing by throughout the day and night. The traffic on Anna Salai never really stops, it seems. The building is simple and we try to keep things running smoothly for anyone who stops by. It’s not one of those high-end luxury hotels you see in the brochures. We are more of a practical choice for people who need to be in the Teynampet area. We have our staff who have been with us for a bit. The heat in Chennai can be a lot, so we just focus on keeping the rooms decent. We don’t have a fancy website or a big PR firm. It’s just a hotel run by regular people.
