Picnic Hotel

Our place is at 1132/1 on Poonamallee High Road. If you’ve ever been on this road, you know it’s one of the main veins of the city. It’s always loud with the sound of engines and people rushing about. Picnic Hotel is just a straightforward spot for travelers and locals alike. We have rooms and we serve food, keeping it as simple as we can. The building has been here for a while, and it shows its age in some spots, but we think that gives it a bit of character. We don't have those fancy automated check-ins or anything. It’s just us at the desk and a ledger. In the mornings, the smell of coffee and breakfast starts to fill the hallway. We spend a lot of time cleaning because the dust from the High Road never really stops. The rooms are basic, just a bed and the essentials. People usually stay with us because they need to be near the main road or they have business nearby. We don't make any big promises about luxury. We just offer a place to sit down and rest your feet for a bit. It’s a lot of work managing a hotel on such a busy street, but we’ve got a routine that works for us. Even when the city is boiling hot, we just keep going and try to make sure there is enough water and clean sheets for everyone.
