Popo Foods India Pvt. Ltd. is located at the very end of 22nd Street in Sowmiya Nagar. The address is a bit of a mouthful, 1/338A, near the R.K. Hollow Block in Perumbakkam Posutom. Being at the "Last End" of the street means it’s a bit tucked away, which actually works out okay for us. We handle food products here. There is always a lot going on in the kitchen and packing areas. It smells like spices and grain most mornings when we start the machines up. Perumbakkam has grown a lot lately, so the roads get a bit crowded, but our spot stays relatively calm. We aren't one of those massive corporations with glass buildings. We are just a private limited setup trying to get our products out to the local shops and distributors. The staff here mostly lives nearby, so we all know each other well. Sometimes the rain makes the street a bit difficult, but we manage to keep the deliveries going. Our building is practical, designed for storage and making food, not for showing off. We spend our time checking what goes into the bags. It is a lot of repetitive work, but it needs to be done right. We don't have a fancy reception desk or anything. Usually, you'll just find someone busy with a clipboard or moving crates. We’ve been part of this Sowmiya Nagar community for a while now and just keep doing our thing every day, making sure the orders are ready on time for the trucks.
