Mass Overseas

Mass Overseas is tucked away in Perambur on Annasamy Street. We have a bit of a funny address because the numbers changed at some point, so we are at New No. 9 but also Old No. 10. You’ll find us on the first floor. Perambur is a decent place to work, a bit more residential in some parts than the city center, but Annasamy Street can still get lively. Our office is pretty straightforward. We have the usual desks, a few filing cabinets that have been here since we started, and a small area for making coffee. It isn't a huge operation, just a handful of us making sure everything runs the way it’s supposed to. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking through documents. The windows look out onto the street, and we can see the neighbors going about their business. It’s nice being on the first floor because we get a bit of a breeze if the weather is right. We’ve had to fix the door handle a couple of times and the floor has some scuffs, but it feels like home to us. It’s a simple, honest workspace without any of those modern glass partitions or bright lights. We just come in, do what needs doing for Mass Overseas, and head out when the sun goes down. It’s a steady kind of life here. We usually close up early on Saturdays to get some rest.
