Pathy Driving School

Pathy Driving School is based in Madhavaram, right here in the Chennai 600060 area. We’ve been operating around this specific part of town for quite some time now. If you live anywhere in Madhavaram, you’ve probably seen our cars driving slowly around the backstreets with a student behind the wheel. We don't have a big glass office or a fancy waiting room. It’s just a small, simple room where we handle all the forms and talk to people about scheduling their next lessons. Learning how to drive in a city like Chennai is really something else, especially with all the bikes and the buses zig-zagging everywhere. We try to make the whole process feel a bit less scary for people who are just starting out. We mostly use older cars for the lessons because they are actually easier to learn on and you don't have to worry so much about a little scratch or a dent. Our instructors are just regular guys who have been driving these roads for decades. We don't use any of those fancy computer simulators. We just get you straight into the car and out on the actual road. That’s the only way a person really learns how to handle traffic. The office gets a little bit dusty because there’s always some kind of road work happening nearby, but we keep it tidy enough for visitors. We don't spend any money on big advertisements. Usually, someone’s uncle or brother tells them to come see us.
