Pasupathi Driving School

Pasupathi Driving School has another spot over in West Mambalam, Chennai 600033. This part of Chennai is known for being very crowded and having some really narrow lanes, so it’s a tough place to learn, but it makes you a better driver in the end. We operate out of this local office and spend most of our day out on the roads with people who are usually pretty nervous behind the wheel. We don't use any fancy simulators or high-tech equipment. It is just a car, a teacher, and a lot of practice. We talk our students through the basics of turning, parking in tight spots, and dealing with the cows and scooters that pop out of nowhere. The humidity in Chennai can make the car feel like an oven sometimes, but we just roll down the windows or put on the AC and get on with the lesson. Mambalam is a busy neighborhood, so there is never a dull moment when we are out on a session. We help with the paperwork for the licenses too, which is always a bit of a headache with all the rules, but we’ve done it so many times now that it’s just part of the routine. We are just local people helping other locals get mobile. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening every day of the week.
