Paradise Hotel

You can find us at No 248 on Purasaiwalkam High Road, right across the street from the J2 police station. This part of Chennai is always moving, and our hotel is right in the middle of all that chaos. The street outside is packed with shops and people walking everywhere, so there is never a dull moment. We have been here for years, and the building shows its age in some spots, but it is a sturdy place. Most of our guests are people coming into the city for work or to visit the markets nearby. The rooms are simple with basic furniture and a fan, which is usually all people need when they are out all day anyway. Sometimes the traffic noise from the High Road leaks in, but you get used to it after an hour or so. We don't have a big fancy team, just a few of us who handle the check-ins and make sure the rooms are ready. The lobby is small and there is usually a newspaper sitting on the desk for anyone to read. We don't try to be anything we aren't. It is just a place to stay in Purasawalkam where you can walk out the door and find anything you need within five minutes. The police station across the way makes it easy to give directions to taxi drivers who might get lost in the narrow side streets.
