Our office is situated at 202, Prince Towers, on the second floor. You can find us right on College Road at numbers 25 and 26. We are Palfinger Cranes India, and as the name suggests, our whole world involves cranes and heavy lifting equipment. It’s an interesting business because you get to see how big things are built and moved. Even though we are in a nice office building like Prince Towers, we aren't really the corporate type. Most of us spend as much time out at work sites or in the yard as we do behind a desk. We deal with the mechanics and the safety side of lifting, which requires a lot of practical knowledge. The traffic on College Road is usually pretty bad, so we spend a fair bit of time just trying to get from one place to another. We don't go in for big, fancy mission statements or things like that. We just try to make sure that our cranes are working right and that our customers have what they need to get their projects finished. It’s a job that keeps us busy from morning until night. We are just a group of people who know a lot about hydraulics and heavy machinery, trying to run a decent business in Chennai.
