Paduka Foods Private Limited is based out of Appasamy Towers in T.Nagar. Our unit is B 4, and the building is located at No 27 on Sir Thyagaraya Road. Being in T.Nagar means we are right in the heart of Chennai’s shopping district. It is always crowded outside with people looking for bargains and clothes. The energy of the street is pretty intense, but once you get inside the towers and up to our unit, it quietens down a little bit. The office isn't anything special to look at. It has got the basic stuff we need—desks, a couple of computers, and chairs that have been around for a few years. We do all our planning and paperwork for the food business here. There is a lot of back and forth with suppliers and keeping track of the inventory. It can get a bit stuffy in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going at full speed. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees; we are just a small team trying to do things right. We don't use any fancy talk or have big meetings about vision. We just look at what needs to be finished today and we do it. The location is convenient for getting around the city, even if the traffic on Sir Thyagaraya Road is a nightmare sometimes. We just focus on our daily tasks at Paduka Foods and try to stay productive.
