Our office is tucked away on 69th Street in RV Nagar, Jaffarhanpet. It’s actually behind the KFC restaurant in Ashok Nagar, which is how most people find their way here. We have a small space at No 10/51. It’s not a big corporate office with glass walls or anything. We have a couple of chairs for people to sit while they wait and a fan that runs all day to keep the Chennai humidity away. Working in travel means there’s always something to do, whether it’s checking schedules or confirming a vehicle. We spend a lot of time on the phone. Sometimes the internet acts up, but we get by. The street outside can get a bit cramped with bikes, but it’s a lively area. Most of the people who come to us are looking for a way to get to the airport or maybe a weekend trip out of the city. We don’t do a lot of advertising. People just see the board or hear about us from their neighbors. It’s a quiet life most of the time, except when there’s a holiday rush. Then things get a bit frantic. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the desk gets covered in notes and tea cups. It’s just how we work here. We've been in this spot for some time now and know the local shortcuts around Jaffarhanpet quite well. We just take things one day at a time.
