We’ve been here at Giriguja Enclave on First Avenue for a while now. It’s right in Shastri Nagar, tucked away in a corner of Adyar. Most mornings start with the same routine of opening up the metal shutters and getting the desk ready before the phones start ringing. It is a busy part of the city, and the street outside usually has plenty of scooters and people heading to work. We spend most of our time dealing with orders and checking the inventory we have on hand. It’s not a fancy office, just a practical place where we get things done. Sometimes the heat in Chennai gets to be a bit much, but we keep the fans going and just push through the day. People sometimes stop by asking for directions because they get lost in the lanes here, but we don't mind. We've got our shelves lined with what we need, and we try to keep things organized, even if it gets a bit cluttered during the middle of the week. There is a small tea stall not too far away that we go to when we need a break from the paperwork. It’s just us doing our job here in this part of town. We don’t have a big team, just a few people who know where everything is kept. The building itself has its quirks, like the elevator that sometimes has a mind of its own, but it’s home for us during the work hours.
