Nilgiris Nest Hotel

Nilgiris Nest Hotel is over at No 105 on Dr Radhakrishnan Salai in the Mylapore area. We are right near the Getit Yellow Pages building, which makes us pretty easy to find for anyone coming into 600004. We’ve been running this hotel for a while, and it’s mostly about providing a place to stay for people visiting Chennai for work or family stuff. The rooms are basic but they do the job. We aren't one of those big chain hotels with uniforms and scripts. When you come in, you just talk to whoever is at the desk, and we get you sorted out. The street outside is always full of cars and buses, so it’s never really quiet, but that’s just life on Dr Radhakrishnan Salai. We spend a lot of our time making sure the rooms are ready and the plumbing is working right. It’s an old building, so it needs a bit of looking after every now and then. We have a lot of regulars who stay with us every time they are in town because they know what to expect. We don't promise anything fancy, just a room and a bit of help if you need to know where the best local shops are. It's a lot of work keeping a hotel running 24/7, but we've gotten used to the rhythm of it over the years.
