Nest Inn Hotel

Nest Inn Hotel sits at No 55/31 on Gandhi Irwin Road in Egmore. We are right next to the Egmore Stadium, so it gets pretty lively around here when there’s a game or an event going on. You can see the stadium lights from the street outside our front door. Living and working in Chennai means dealing with the heat, so we spend a lot of time making sure the rooms stay as cool as they can. The building has been here for years. It’s got that old Egmore feel to it, with narrow hallways and a lot of history in the bricks. We have guests coming from all over, some taking the train since the station isn't too far off. The road outside is always full of autos and buses honking their horns, so it’s never truly quiet until very late at night. Our team is small, mostly just a few local people who know the area well. We don't have a big dining room, but there are plenty of places to eat just a short walk away. We keep the keys behind the desk and try to remember everyone's face when they come through the door. It’s a simple operation. We don’t try to pretend to be a five-star place. We are just a local inn for people who need a place to sleep while they are in this part of the city. It’s honest work and we like being here.
