Nav Durga Lights

Nav Durga Lights is found at 75 Narayana Mudali Street. If you have ever been to Sowcarpet, you know exactly what the atmosphere is like around here. It is loud, crowded, and there is always something moving. Our place is right in the thick of it. The street is narrow and filled with people, carts, and the occasional stray animal. It’s a lot to take in if you aren't used to the pace of this neighborhood. We’ve been at number 75 for a long time now. The building is old and the stairs are a bit steep, so you have to watch your step when you're carrying boxes. Speaking of boxes, we have them everywhere. Our workspace is pretty much filled to the brim with stock. It’s not the most organized system, but we usually know where everything is hidden. The fans on the ceiling spin all day long to keep the air moving, but it still gets pretty warm in the afternoons. We don't have any fancy meeting rooms or soft carpets. It’s just bare floors and sturdy shelves. The neighbors are all merchants too, so there is a sense of being part of a big, noisy family. You can hear people bargaining outside the window all day long. It’s a gritty, honest place to work. We don't try to make it look like something it isn't. It’s just our shop in the heart of the city.
