You can find us at 5/14 on the 80 Feet Road in Anna Nagar. It’s a busy street with plenty of shops and houses around. At Natural Oils And Foods, we spend our time dealing with exactly what the name says. We have different kinds of oils and some food items stacked up on the shelves. The shop has a specific smell to it, a mix of ground spices and fresh oil. Some people like it, some find it a bit strong. We’ve been in Anna Nagar for several years. The 80 Feet Road has changed quite a bit since we first opened. There are more cars now and it’s harder to find parking. We have a small area in the back where we do the packing. It’s mostly manual work. We don’t have big machines doing everything for us. We use our hands and simple tools. It takes longer but that’s how we like to do it. My wife helps me with the accounts in the evenings. We aren’t looking to become a giant company. We just want to keep things running smoothly and serve the people who walk through the door. Sometimes we run out of a certain oil and have to wait for the next shipment from the farm. People understand. It’s a local business and we treat it that way. We just keep things simple and honest. The morning starts with us cleaning the glass jars and sweeping the front.
