We've been at Anna Nagar Plaza for a while now. Shop number 4, right near the Ayappan Temple. It's a small place but we keep a lot of jewelry here. Mostly fashion pieces. People come in when they're going to a wedding or just want something new for a party. My sister and I started this because we liked collecting bangles and necklaces. Now it's a full business. We spend most of our mornings unpacking new stock or cleaning the display cases. Sometimes the lights in the plaza flicker, but we make do. It gets busy on weekends, especially with people visiting the temple nearby. We don't have a big website or anything fancy. Just the shop on 2nd Avenue. If you walk past the plaza, you'll see our sign. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the counter gets messy when customers are looking through the earrings. It's just how it goes here. We have a few regular ladies who come by every month to see what’s new. We sit and talk for a bit, maybe have some tea if it's not too crowded. It's a quiet life mostly. We handle the billing ourselves. Nothing is automated. We write the receipts by hand. It works for us. The plaza is an old building, but it’s home. We've seen many shops come and go, but we're still here at C-47. Come by if you're in the area.
