Manikan International

We’ve been here at Manikan International for quite a while now. Our office is tucked away in 16/23, Crp Garden, right on 2nd Street in Kodambakkam. It’s a busy area, but once you get inside our gate, things quiet down a bit. Most days start early here because the heat in Chennai can get pretty intense by noon. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking files. The neighborhood has changed a lot since we first moved in. There are more shops now and the traffic on the main road is definitely heavier. Sometimes it’s a bit of a struggle to get deliveries through the narrow parts of the street, but we make it work. We aren't a massive corporation with fancy glass walls or anything like that. It’s just us, a few desks, and a lot of paperwork to keep track of. People around here know us as the place that’s always open by nine. We don't really do much advertising. Most people find us just by knowing someone else who came here before. It's a simple setup. We have a small tea stall just around the corner where we usually take our breaks. You get used to the rhythm of the place after a few years. It’s not always exciting, but it’s what we do. The fan hums in the corner and we just keep at it, day in and day out, making sure everything is handled. It's just the way we do things here.
