Nag Impex

Nag Impex is right on North Usman Road in T. Nagar. Our address is Old 171 and New 68, which can be a bit confusing for delivery drivers who aren't used to the area. T. Nagar is the heart of shopping and trade in Chennai, so it’s always incredibly busy outside our doors. We handle import and export tasks, which means our day is a lot of logistics and talking to people at the port. The office is pretty functional—lots of filing cabinets and stacks of shipping manifests. We aren't a high-end corporate firm. It’s just a place where we manage the movement of goods. The noise from the street is something you never really escape, but it keeps us energized. We spend a lot of time checking on regulations and making sure the paperwork for our shipments is in order. It’s not the most exciting work, but it’s what we know how to do. We’ve been at this Usman Road location for many years. We don't do any flashy advertising or anything like that. People find us because they need someone who knows the ins and outs of the import business here. We have a small staff, and we all pitch in with whatever needs doing, whether it’s answering the phone or checking a container. It’s just a regular business day for us, trying to stay on top of the schedules and keeping the goods moving.
