Murugan Store

This is the Murugan Store located in Ayanavaram, Chennai. Our address is number 1 on Ramasamy Mudali Street. We are very close to the Solai Amman Koil, which is a big landmark around here for everyone. Being near the temple means we see a lot of people every day, especially on auspicious days. We carry a bit of everything for the house. Groceries are the main thing we sell, but we have some other household items too. The store is tucked into the street and it’s been there for quite some time now. We don't have a lot of space for fancy displays, so we just stack things where they fit on the racks. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time getting into the narrow street, but we always manage to get the stock inside. It’s a very local feel here. Most of our customers live within walking distance of the shop. We know who wants what brand of tea or which soap they prefer. It’s just a regular life for us, opening the shutters in the morning and closing up at night. The 600023 area is always busy, especially during festival times at the temple nearby. We don't use any high-tech systems, just a simple way of doing business with our neighbors. It’s honest work and we like being a part of this community. If you need some milk or some rice, you can just drop in and get it. We are usually around.
