M/S. V-Guard Industries Limited

We are over at No. 6 on Kumaran Street in Palavanthangal. M/S. V-Guard Industries Limited has been using this simple building for quite some time now. It’s a relatively quiet street compared to some of the bigger roads nearby. Most of the people living around here know us by sight. We usually get in early before the sun gets too hot. The work involves a lot of coordination and making sure everything is where it should be. Our desks are usually covered in folders and notes we've written to ourselves. We have a small fan that rattles a bit, but it keeps the air moving during the afternoon slump. Lunch is usually brought from home and eaten at our desks while we chat about whatever is in the news. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy descriptions. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay ahead of the deadlines. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time turning into the narrow street, so we have to go out and help guide them. It’s just part of the daily routine here. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years, with new houses and shops popping up all the time. Despite the changes, we just keep doing our thing. It’s a steady kind of job, and we appreciate the familiarity of the place. We don't need much more than a good chair and a working phone.
