Mrk Traders

Our office is on Broadway, specifically at New No 132, which people used to know as Old No 163. It gets a bit confusing for new delivery drivers sometimes. Broadway is a hectic place to work, with everyone rushing around and trucks blocking the narrow lanes, but we like the energy here. Mrk Traders is a small operation. We handle various supplies that people in the trade need. The building we are in has seen better days, and the paint is peeling in the corners, but it serves its purpose for us. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking through piles of ledgers and inventory sheets. It’s not the most glamorous work, but it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We have a few staff members who have been here for a long time, and they pretty much know where everything is kept without even looking. We don't have a fancy showroom. If you come by, you’ll probably see us surrounded by boxes and paperwork. We just try to get the orders right and out the door on time. Sometimes the heat in the afternoon makes us slow down a bit, so we usually take a break for some tea. We don’t do any big promotions. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been around long enough for people to know our name. It's just a regular local business doing its thing in a busy part of town.
