Moorthy Driving School

Moorthy Driving School is tucked away in Kodambakkam, right here in Chennai. We’ve been teaching people how to handle a car on these busy streets for quite some time now. If you know the 600024 area, you know how the traffic can get. It is actually a good place to learn because if you can drive here, you can drive anywhere. We don't have a big fancy office. It’s just a small place where we keep the paperwork and meet up with people. Usually, we are out on the road anyway. Our cars are kept in decent shape, though they aren't brand new models. They do the job fine. Dealing with the Chennai heat and the narrow lanes of Kodambakkam is just part of the daily routine for us. We try to be patient because we know how nervous a first-time driver can feel. It isn't always easy, especially when the buses are honking behind you. But we just take it slow. Most of our students come from nearby neighborhoods. Someone’s cousin or a neighbor usually tells them about us. We don't spend money on big posters or flyers. People just know we are here. It’s a small, local setup run by people who live right in the city. We open up in the morning and keep going until it gets dark. That’s how we’ve always done it.
