We operate Mohan Mutha Exports Private Limited out of Siyat House. We take up the first and second floors at No. 961 on Poonamalle High Road. If you know Chennai, you know that this road is one of the busiest stretches in the city. The noise from the horns and the buses is constant, but once you are inside Siyat House, it settles down a little. We handle a lot of export paperwork and coordination from our desks. The floors are usually covered in files and ledgers because there is a lot to track when you are sending things overseas. We have big windows that look out over the traffic, which can be a bit distracting when the rains come and everything slows to a crawl. The staff here is a mix of people who have been with the company for years and some newer faces. We drink a lot of coffee to keep going through the afternoon slump. It is a very standard office setup with wooden desks and old filing cabinets. We don't really do the whole modern startup vibe. It is more about the long hours and making sure the numbers add up at the end of the month. Getting in and out of the building during peak hours is a challenge, but we have our timing down. It is a steady environment where we just focus on the logistics and the daily export tasks.
