Millet Jars Private Limited

Millet Jars Private Limited is based at New No.16, which used to be Old No.27, on Boobegam Street near Anna Salai. This part of the city is always moving, and finding our door can be a bit tricky if you are looking for the old number instead of the new one. Our place is basically filled with jars and millets of all kinds. We spend the better part of the day filling those jars and making sure the lids are on tight. The shelves are packed and sometimes it feels a bit cramped when we get a big shipment in. The lighting inside is a bit dim, but we have some desk lamps to help us see what we are doing with the labels. Anna Salai is just a short walk away, so we can hear the buses and horns all day long. It is a bit of an old building, so the floors are a little uneven in places. We have a small team here, just a few people who know where everything is kept. We do not have any big meetings or anything like that. We just talk while we work and try to stay organized. It is a very hands-on job, and our hands are usually covered in a bit of grain dust by the end of the shift. We just try to keep things simple and get the jars out the door. It is a lot of repetitive work but we just get on with it.
