Working at Micro Tech Cnc Pvt Ltd means spending a lot of time around machines. We are based over at 16E in the Sipcot Industrial Complex, specifically Phase 2. It’s a big industrial zone, so there’s always a hum of electricity and the sound of metal being worked on nearby. Our space isn't huge, but we have the machines set up to make the most of the floor. There's a lot of oil and metal shavings around, which is just part of the job. We spend most of the day looking at blueprints or watching the cutters do their thing. It can get pretty warm inside when all the equipment is running at once, especially in the afternoons. We usually keep the back doors open to get a bit of a breeze through the building. The neighbors in Phase 2 are all doing similar stuff, mostly manufacturing and logistics. Sometimes we borrow tools from each other if someone is in a pinch. It’s not the kind of place you come for a fancy tour. It’s just a workshop where things get made. We take our lunch breaks together near the main entrance where it’s a bit quieter. The commute to Sipcot can be a bit long depending on the traffic, but we’re used to it by now. Just a group of people doing technical work on the machines every day until the sun goes down and we head home.
