Mayflower Hospitalities Private Limited is based over in Secretariat Colony in Kilpauk. This is a quieter part of the city, with a lot of trees and old buildings around us. Our office is where we manage the daily side of the hospitality business. It is not a fancy hotel lobby; it is more of a working space where we handle the paperwork and the planning. We spend a lot of time on the phone or working through schedules. The rooms here are filled with files and computers. We have a small team, and everyone knows what they need to do. Sometimes we are out on-site at different properties, and other times we are stuck here in Kilpauk dealing with maintenance issues or staff rosters. The neighborhood is nice to walk around in when we take a break for lunch. You can hear the birds and the occasional car passing by. It is a contrast to the busy work we do inside. We do not have a flashy entrance or a big sign. Most people would not even know what we do just by looking at the building. We just focus on keeping the hospitality side of things running smoothly behind the scenes. It is about making sure everything is in place for the guests elsewhere. We have been here for years and have seen the colony change slowly. We just keep our heads down and get the job done.
