Maiam Group Company is set up at Cs No. 1 in the Sidco Industrial Estate in Arumbakkam. Being in an industrial estate means we are surrounded by other businesses doing all sorts of manufacturing and trading. It’s a practical place to be. We don’t have a front desk with a receptionist or anything like that. Usually, you’ll just find a few of us in the office or out in the work area handling whatever needs doing that day. The building is a standard industrial unit, built for work rather than looking pretty. We’ve been here long enough that we know the neighbors and the local routines. The noise of the machinery and the trucks coming in is just part of the background for us. We handle a variety of tasks under the Maiam name, and we just focus on getting through the workload. Some days are slower than others, which gives us a chance to tidy up the workspace or catch up on the books. We don't put out a lot of advertisements because most people find us through word of mouth or because they’re already in the Arumbakkam area. It’s a straightforward setup. We show up, we do the work, and we make sure the orders are ready on time. There’s no big corporate philosophy here, just a group of people working in an industrial shed. We just keep our heads down and get the job done.
