We are located at Cs1 in the Sidco Industrial Estate, which is part of the Mmda Colony in Arumbakkam. It’s a pretty large industrial area, and finding our specific spot can take a minute if you aren't familiar with the layout. Maiam Food Products India Pvt. Ltd. has its production area right here. It’s a busy place with people moving around constantly. We don't have a big fancy sign or a shiny front office. Most of the space is dedicated to the actual work of making food products. The floor is usually busy and there is always a bit of a hum from the equipment. Arumbakkam is a good central spot for us, even if the traffic on the main roads can be a headache in the evenings. We’ve been here long enough to see the area change quite a bit. New buildings go up, but our little corner at Cs1 stays much the same. We start our shifts early because that’s the best way to get things done before it gets too hot. It is straightforward work. We don’t spend much time on meetings or big plans. We just make sure everything is running like it should. It is just a group of us working together to keep the business going. We take our breaks together and talk about the neighborhood or the weather. It is not glamorous, but it is what we do every single day.
