Mahaveer Travels

You can find Mahaveer Travels over on Mint Street. We are at 2/3, which is right behind the Apollo Hospital. Being near the hospital means we get all kinds of people coming by. Some are visiting patients and need a way home, others are locals who live nearby and want to go on a vacation. Mint is a very active part of Chennai, so there's always something going on outside our door. We’ve been here for a good while. The office is small and we keep things pretty basic. We spend our time checking bus schedules, train tickets, and flights. It’s mostly just us and a couple of computers. We don't really go for the high-pressure sales stuff. If you want a ticket, we find you one. If you have questions about a route, we tell you what we know. It’s a very practical way to run a business. A lot of our regulars are people who work in the shops around here. They know they can just pop in and we’ll help them out. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy. Most people find us by word of mouth or because they were already in the area for the hospital. We just try to be reliable and get the booking done right. It’s a steady job and we like the people we meet every day. There is always someone new walking in with a different destination in mind.
