You can find us over at 19, Sidco Estate on Tass Estate Road in Ambattur. We’ve been working out of this spot for a long time, and it’s where all the work for Madras Conveyors Pvt Ltd happens. The area is full of workshops and small factories, so we fit right in. Our day usually starts with the sound of metal being moved around and the smell of welding. We spend a lot of time putting together conveyors and making sure the belts run like they are supposed to. It’s straightforward industrial work. We don't have a big corporate lobby or a team of people in suits. Most of us are in work clothes, and we’re usually a bit dusty by noon. The workshop can get quite noisy when we’re testing the machines, but that’s just how it goes. We’ve seen a lot of changes in the Sidco Estate over the years, but our little corner stays pretty much the same. We keep a good stock of rollers and motors because you never know what a client might need. Ambattur is a good place to be because everything we need is just down the road. Sometimes the shed gets hot when the sun is hitting the roof, but we just keep at it. We aren't here to give sales pitches. We just build the conveyors and make sure they’re bolted down right. It’s simple, honest work that we’ve been doing for years.
