Madhu Food Products

We’re over on Mc Road in Washermanpet at number 54. Washermanpet is always loud and busy, and our street is no different. We’ve been here for a while now, and the building is actually older than it looks from the front. People come in and out all through the morning. It’s mostly food products we handle here at Madhu Food Products. We spend a lot of our time moving crates around and checking the stock on the shelves in the back. Sometimes the rain on MC Road makes it hard for the delivery trucks to get through on time, but we usually manage to figure it out. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. It is just some wooden desks and a lot of storage space. My cousins used to help out here during the summers when they were younger. Now it's just the regular crew of us. We open up quite early because the morning air is better for moving heavy things before the heat really kicks in. The neighbors are mostly other small shops and we know the guys at the tea stall down the lane pretty well by now. Usually, there's a lot of noise from the traffic outside, but you get used to it after a year or two of working here. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy. People just know where we are because we’ve stayed in the same spot for so long.
