Machine Care Services

Machine Care Services is based at New No.- 35, on the first floor of a building on Gengu Reddy Road in Egmore. It is an older building, so you have to walk up the stairs to find us. We don't spend as much time in the office as we do out at different factories and shops. Our main job is looking after machines and making sure they don't stop running. We carry our toolbags all over the city. Egmore is a central place to be, which helps us get around, though the traffic on Gengu Reddy Road can be a real mess in the evenings. We handle things like fixing motors, changing belts, and oiling parts that have gotten stuck. It is dirty work and we often come home with grease under our fingernails. We have seen all sorts of machines, some that are brand new and some that look like they belong in a museum. We just try to keep them all going. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. We are just a few people who understand how mechanical things work. Sometimes a job takes longer than we thought because a part is hard to find, but we always tell the truth about how long it will take. We enjoy the variety of the work and the different people we meet every day while we are out on service calls.
