Maathus Inn Hotel

Maathus Inn Hotel is at No 7, Kottivakkam, on the East Coast Road in the A G S Colony area of Injambakkam, 600041. Being on the ECR means we see a lot of people passing through on their way to the city or down the coast. We are a small hotel and we don't have the big fancy features of the resorts you see further down the road. We have rooms and we keep them clean. That is about it. The salt in the air from the ocean can be hard on the building, so we are always painting or fixing things that have rusted. We don't have a huge staff. Usually, it is just one or two of us at the desk. We get a lot of regular guests who stop here because they know what to expect. We don't use any marketing words to describe the place. It is just a building with rooms for people to sleep in. Sometimes the traffic outside is loud, but the rooms are generally quiet enough. We don't have a big corporate office or a mission statement. We just show up to work and make sure the guests have their keys. It’s a straightforward business. We like being in Kottivakkam because it’s a bit quieter than the main city. We just keep doing what we’ve been doing for years and that seems to be enough.
