Our branch is over in Padi, specifically on North Mada 4th Street. If you know Chennai, you know Padi has a lot of industrial activity mixed with old residential streets. We are at number 15/37. The street is usually lined with parked scooters and the occasional delivery truck. Our building isn't anything fancy; it’s just a solid structure that has been there for years. Inside, it’s mostly open space with a few partitions for the desks. We have those heavy-duty fans that blow the air around because it gets incredibly hot in the afternoons. The floor is tiled but has a lot of scuff marks from people moving things around. We don’t have a fancy receptionist or a lobby with magazines. Usually, you’ll find one of us sitting at a desk covered in papers and maybe a half-finished cup of coffee. We spend our time looking through orders and making sure the inventory is right. It’s a bit of a noisy environment sometimes because of the traffic from the main road nearby, but we’re used to it by now. We usually take a break in the late afternoon when the sun starts to go down a bit. It’s a straightforward place where we just get on with the job. There’s no corporate talk here; we just speak normally and get the work done as it comes through our doors during the week.
