Lazer Power Tools

Lazer Power Tools is based at No A-1 on the 1st Floor of the Mmmda Colony in Arumbakkam. We are quite easy to spot if you look for the big water tank nearby, as that is the main landmark for everyone in this area. Since we are on the first floor, you have to come up the stairs to see us. The shop is full of the sounds of testing drills and saws, as we deal with all sorts of power equipment. It is a bit of a workspace and a bit of a showroom, all mixed into one. We have tools hanging on the walls and others sitting in boxes on the floor. It is a very hands-on environment. Most of our customers are local tradesmen or people from the colony who need something fixed or a new tool for a project. We spend a lot of time explaining how different machines work or trying to troubleshoot a motor that has stopped running. The Mmmda Colony is a residential area but has these pockets of business, and we have been part of this neighborhood for a good while. It gets a bit hot up on the first floor during the middle of the day, but we keep the windows open to catch whatever breeze we can. We are just a regular shop where you can hear the hum of electricity and the smell of metal and plastic.
