Kumar Travels & Telecom

We’ve been running Kumar Travels & Telecom for a while now over here in Teynampet. Our shop is tucked away on 2nd Street in Ganeshpuram, which is right behind the Apollo Cancer Hospital. It’s a busy little area, but once you find the street, we aren’t hard to spot at No 25. Most people know us because we do two different things under one roof. We handle travel bookings and also have the telecom side of things for recharges and stuff like that. It’s just easier for the neighbors to get everything done in one place. We’ve lived in Chennai for years, so we know the shortcuts and how things work around here. If you are coming from the main road, just look for the hospital entrance and head behind it. The shop isn’t fancy or anything, but we keep it tidy and try to be helpful whenever someone walks in. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the afternoons when the sun is out, but that’s just how it is in Teynampet. We started this small business because we wanted to work for ourselves and serve the local community. It’s nice seeing the same faces every week. Whether you need to book a ticket for a trip or just need some help with your phone, we are usually around from morning till evening. It’s a simple setup, just us working and keeping the business going year after year. We like it here in Teynampet.
