We are located at 921 in Palkalai Nagar. Vadapalani is a busy area, and being in Palkalai Nagar means we see a lot of different faces every day. This store is packed with all sorts of things. You’ve got your spices in one corner and cleaning supplies in the other. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes when three or four people are trying to look at the same shelf. We try to keep things organized, but in a small store like this, stuff tends to move around. We’ve got a small counter where we handle everything. Most of the time, we’re just chatting with someone while we bag up their groceries. It’s a local spot, so we hear all the neighborhood news. The building is an older one, but it holds up well. We spend our mornings checking what ran out the day before and making sure the milk is cold. It gets noisy with the traffic outside, but inside it’s just the sound of the fridge humming.
