Kences Inn Hotel

Kences Inn Hotel is located right on B N Road in the middle of T Nagar. If you know Chennai, you know how crowded this area gets, especially on the weekends. We have been at No 50 for quite a while now. The building isn't new, but we try to keep things clean and functional for anyone who needs a place to sleep. Most people who stay with us are here for shopping in the nearby markets or have some quick business to finish in the city. It is a simple place, nothing too complicated about how we run things. We have a small staff that looks after the front desk and the rooms. Sometimes the street outside gets very noisy with all the traffic and horns, but that is just life in T Nagar. We aren't a big luxury chain, just a local spot where you can find a room without too much fuss. We spend a lot of time making sure the linens are changed and the bathrooms are working right. It’s a lot of routine work, checking people in and out at all hours. We see a lot of different faces coming through the doors every day. Some stay for a night, others for a week. We just try to be helpful when someone asks for directions or needs a taxi to the station. Being close to the main shops is the reason most people pick us. It’s practical for travelers who don't want to spend too much. We focus on the basic needs of the guests.
