Kaushik Associates

T. Nagar is a place where you can never find parking. We are in Brindavan Apartments, unit 4/19. It’s an older building on Thanikachalam Road, and the stairs can be a bit of a climb if you’re not used to them. Inside, it’s mostly just desks and files piled up. Kaushik Associates has been here for a while now. Most days start with opening the windows to let some air in, though the noise from the street comes right in with it. You can hear the horns and people shouting all day. We spend most of our time sitting around the big table, talking about whatever work is on the schedule. It’s not a fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. We have a small kettle for tea and some plastic chairs for when people drop by to drop off documents. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. People know us by the sign out front, which has faded a bit in the sun. It’s a simple setup. We come in, do the paperwork, handle the phone calls, and head home when the sun goes down. T. Nagar stays busy long after we leave, but our corner of the apartment building gets quiet once the lights are off. It’s just how we do things here, nothing more and nothing less.
