Kairusi Foods

We are Kairusi Foods and we’re located at 11, Swamy Nagar in Madhavaram. This part of Chennai is okay, it gets a bit crowded during the school run hours. Our building is nothing fancy. It’s just an old place with a big front door. We spend most of our days inside, dealing with different food items. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit and wait for it to come back on. We don't have a generator yet. My brother-in-law and I started this after he left his old job. We didn't know much about it at first, but we learned as we went along. We use simple tools and a lot of handwork. The floor is concrete and we try to keep it cool by keeping the windows open, but then the mosquitoes get in. It’s a trade-off. We have a small truck that we use for moving stuff around. It’s old and the gears grind a bit, but it gets us from A to B. Most of our neighbors know what we do and they stop by to check on us. We don't have any big slogans or goals. We just want to make sure the food is good and that we don't run out of supplies. It's a simple life, honestly. We work hard, we eat lunch together, and then we go home.
