K Kumar Driving School

Our little school is over in K K Nagar, specifically at No: 59-B in the Bharathidasan Colony. We chose this spot because it's right near the RTO office, which makes it easier for everyone when it's time for the actual tests. K Kumar started this because he saw how nervous people get behind the wheel. We have a few cars and we spend most of our day out on the roads teaching people how to shift gears without grinding them. It’s a patient kind of job. You meet all sorts of people, from teenagers who think they know everything to older folks who are finally getting around to learning. The office is small, mostly just some chairs and a desk for the paperwork. It can get loud with the traffic outside, but we don't mind. We talk about traffic rules and how to handle the busy Chennai streets. Sometimes the weather is too hot, but we still go out anyway. We don't have a big fancy website or anything like that. Most people just walk in or hear about us from a neighbor who learned here. We focus on the basics, like parking and signaling properly. It’s simple work but it’s important to get it right. We want people to feel okay when they’re out there on their own. Just come by if you see the sign near the colony, we're usually around and ready to help you get started with your first lesson.
