Joyce Hotel

Joyce Hotel is located at No 38 and 39 on Thiruvengadam Street in the Park Town area. If you are looking for us, we are right across from the Sindhoori Hotel, which is a well-known landmark in this part of Chennai. This neighborhood, near the Central Perimet, is always crowded and the streets are quite narrow. We’ve been running this hotel for many years now and the building has its own quirks. It’s a basic place meant for people who just need a room for the night. We don't have fancy elevators or a big lobby area with sofas. The stairs are a bit steep, so we spend a lot of time carrying things up and down for the guests. We handle the laundry and the cleaning ourselves, so you’ll often see sheets drying on the roof. The noise from the street is constant, with people shouting and bikes zooming past, but that's just how life is in Park Town. Our front desk is just a small wooden table where we keep the register and the keys. We don't use any complicated computer systems; we just write everything down in a big book. Most of the people who stay with us are here for business or are just passing through the city. We don't try to be anything we aren't. It's just a simple, functional hotel for regular travelers. We stay busy keeping the rooms tidy and helping folks find their way around the neighborhood every single day.
