Jodhi Foods

We are located at 25 Arcot Road in Porur. If you’ve ever been to Porur, you know how the traffic is on Arcot Road. It’s always moving, or at least trying to. Our place, Jodhi Foods, is right in the middle of it. We are a small food outlet. We don't have a massive kitchen, just enough space to get the cooking done. We focus on local food that people around here like. The shop has been here for a while. We have a few staff members who have stayed with us for years. We aren't a big corporation. We are just a local family business. We open up in the morning and stay open until late evening. The smell of the food usually brings people in. We don't spend money on ads. Word of mouth works better for us anyway. Sometimes it gets really crowded and people have to wait on the sidewalk. We try to be as quick as we can. The building is old, and we’ve had to fix the plumbing a few times. That’s just part of owning a shop. We enjoy the hustle of Porur. It feels alive. We don't have a mission statement. We just want to cook food and sell it to our neighbors. It’s a straightforward life and we are okay with that. Most of our day is spent in the kitchen or talking to customers.
