J.G. Impex (P) Ltd.

It’s been quite a while since J.G. Impex (P) Ltd. first opened up here on Narayana Mudali Street. If you’ve ever walked through Sowcarpet, you know how busy it gets around No. 55. The streets are narrow, and there is always something moving, whether it’s a cart or someone in a hurry. We spend most of our days right in the middle of that noise, dealing with the daily grind of imports and exports. It’s not a fancy office with glass walls, just a regular place where we keep track of papers and shipments. People come in and out, the phone rings a lot, and we try to keep everything organized. Sometimes the heat gets to us, or the traffic outside makes it hard to hear, but that is just part of being in this area. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years, but our spot stays pretty much the same. We handle the paperwork, talk to the suppliers, and make sure things get where they need to go. There isn't much to say about it other than it’s hard work and keeps us busy from morning until evening. Most of the guys here have been with us for a long time, so we know how each other works without having to say much. We just focus on the tasks at hand, filing the forms and checking the boxes. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living, right in the heart of the city's trade hub.
